Deep SOLO covers the latest GRL edition

N. Zilberman, D. Roemmich and J. Gilson’s recent article on deep ocean circulation in the Southwest Pacific using Deep Argo data is in the latest Geophysical Research Letters and the front cover is a photo of a Deep SOLO.

Deep SOLO float ascending back to the surface. This Deep Argo float model is capable of providing temperature and salinity profiles from the sea surface to 6,000 m, and trajectory-based velocity at parking depth every 10 days.
