CSIRO will host ADMT-24

Thanks to CSIRO for offering to host the ADMT-23 meeting in Hobart, Tasmania in the fall of 2023. We have chosen the week of 23 – 27 October, 2023 for the meeting. More information will be coming by April. If you need a letter of invitation, please email argo@ucsd.edu.

Register now for AST-24 in Halifax

Registration is now open for the AST-24 meeting in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada the week of 20 – 24 March 2023.  Please register by 1 March 2023. The meeting webpage has more information on the meeting, including a daily schedule and travel information.

Argo Canada is hosting the 24th AST meeting 20 – 24, March 2023 in Halifax.  Registration will open in January, but information about the meeting is available now on the meeting website.

Thanks to Shawnee Tralyer and Cora Hersh who delivered a presentation on OneArgo at the Oceans Pavilion at CPO27 on November 14th. This was followed by a panel with Dr. Rick Spinrad, Dr. Margaret Leinen and Dr. Carol Anne Clayson in person and Dr. Susan Wijffels virtually.

Monthly snapshot of BGC Sprof files available with the Argo data snapshot

We’re happy to announce that routine monthly archives of the Argo GDAC now include a separate zip component which contains all available *Sprof.nc files: “BGC Sprof data files (yyyy-mm-dd snapshot)”, which can be accessed here:  https://doi.org/10.17882/42182 Users interested in BGC data can now download a snapshot of all Sprof files (~2GB) without downloading the entire GDAC (>48GB).
